Mission Statement: The mission of Global Compassion Inc. (GCI) is to: eradicate barriers of education for under resourced youth, to support and inspire all children to greater heights; regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or gender.
Who we are: Global Compassion Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization built on the values and beliefs of placing the needs of others before your own. We operate with the primary goal of eradicating barriers to education for children in less economically developed countries (LEDC). Our organization is committed to helping under resourced children, both local and abroad, obtain needed resources (School Supplies) that others take for granted. We provide help and support to disadvantage schools and orphanages through the combined effort of individuals, nonprofits, and business owners that we call collective sponsorship.
How you help: Your charitable contributions directly affect the livelihood of less fortunate children worldwide. By supporting us, your providing the needed resources and hope these children need to be successful in life. Studies show that an education is key to overcoming poverty; but many schools in developing countries are dilapidated and lack resources, making the learning environment both unsafe and unproductive for students. Children who live in extreme poverty face many barriers to education including: armed conflict, natural disaster, child labor, illness from preventable disease, but more importantly the inability to afford basic school supplies.
Our Promise: Global Compassion Inc., values all donations regardless of size; and promise to honor your generosity in the most effective way possible. Your sponsorship and donations will help provide school supplies, textbooks, uniforms, shoes, meals, computers, sporting equipment, and needed repairs. Once your In-Kind donations have been received, they will be matched to either a current supply request or packaged together with other items as part of an initial start-up for newly funded projects. We put a strong emphasis on both education and accountability and guarantee that your provided donations will be placed in the hands of qualified staff members caring for those in need.
